Some great advice from our CEO Kingsley Aikins! 🚀 To help get the most out of our networks we need to understand them. Audit your network by dividing it into four segments: 🤝 Contacts 🤝 Connections 🤝 Relationships 🤝 Friends Learn more about how to audit your network in our online course: https://lnkd.in/eNiKQEND
CEO of The Networking Institute - we have developed a methodology that shows professional business people how to survive and thrive by building strong and diverse networks.
It’s an old mantra that has stood the test of time – people do business with people they know, like and trust. In a deeply distrustful world, these can be huge competitive advantages. It is important to realise that not everybody in your network is the same. The key is to audit your network and segment it into 4 categories – contact, connection, relationship and friend. Now you are putting some shape on a long list of names and this will show you where to focus. Thanks again to Caroline O'Neill for hosting me on The Digg Podcast, available on Apple, Spotify and Youtube.

I make a lot of money off of this formula. You can too. If you're telling a story through any medium, you should structure it in this way. This is based off of the amazing book: Building a StoryBrand by Donald Miller. Your podcast, social posts, music, blog posts, and video can all be based on this formula. But here's the secret, make sure to position the consumer of your media as the hero... and they will instantly be bought in. Another way to read this is: 1. Connect with your audience 2. Paint the stakes 3. Offer your help 4. Help them navigate the pain point 5. Their problem is solved
