Wedbush Securities analyst Scott Devitt's recent survey of over 1,000 U.S. consumers reveals significant shifts in spending habits and consumer satisfaction, according to Markets Insider. Temu is emerging as a strong contender, according to the survey, with 23% of respondents planning to increase their spending on the platform, up from 17% previously. Additionally, 36% of those surveyed made a purchase on Temu in the past three months. Temu's appeal lies in product discovery, with 45% of its shoppers visiting the site without a specific item in mind, compared to Amazon's 23%.
