Thinking outside the box I came from an economic, finance and biostatistics background into finance through the adaptation and application of biostatistics brownian bridges to fixed income option modeling. No surprise, I have a soft spot for cellular biology in particular and cross disciplinary research and data science in general. Continuous Glucose Monitoring technology is to me one of the hottest field of research right now in health science and could potentially benefit from notions coming from algorithmic trading, for example cross referencing : visualization, model risk management, objective optimization -like range trading and calibration processes. Seeing data science finance native innovations deployed to help other industries especially if they help make people lives easier would be for me truly awesome. #multidisciplinary #fullcircle #thinkingoutsidethebox
