Please consider celebrating this year by donating to PSU’s Graduate and Professional Student Association (GPSA).
This GivingTuesday, we are aiming to be able to develop internally by raising funds to create more opportunities for GPSA to support graduate students. We currently do not receive enough funds to be able to fully support the requests of student groups coming to us for co-sponsorship. We are working to expand our ability to offer integrated salaried positions to enable our student members to be supported for all of the work that they do. We have started work toward an initiative to train students to work as medical and legal interpreters for our legal, medical, and psychological clinics. Our long-term goal is to start being able to offer a childcare grant for graduate, professional, and medical students who are traveling for their research. We also want to create a Penn State Grad School publication, where we would be able to present the work of our students.
GPSA is the longest-running student governing body here at Penn State, established 73 years ago. When you give to GPSA, your tax-deductible donation will go to support events that develop bonds and promote networking within the graduate and professional student communities. GPSA believes that We Are better together, and we work to build a better tomorrow for all graduate and professional students.
