The work life balance is a real thing but seems hard to quantify at times. If you are like me it's easy to become obsessed with working to help and improve your clients quality of life. After 28yrs I've finally realized that disconnecting from work is ok and when you do you actually become more efficient in your chosen career. There was a time when a slow work week would drive me bananas but now I roll with it. With so many people out of office this week I decided to take advantage of it and in between calls/meetings I started a new piece for the 4th of July. I hope everyone gets a little break this week and gets to enjoy some down time.
