Two years ago, ~5,800 people globally had a #RevOps title on LinkedIn. Now, it’s over 150,000. And yet, there’s still a lot of people asking “What is RevOps?” Or, when do I use RevOps? How do I get started? What does a RevOps team look like? How do I know when it’s successful? My advice is that it’s never too early to think about and deploy RevOps. - It’s a founder’s job until Series A. - At Series A You need your process and systems person to help tie in the GTM and the backend - At Series B and C, RevOps folks are overwhelmed and need deep expertise. They need to pull back and get strategic. In all these stages you need to consider the implications of what you're building and what the ultimate end goal is. Those things dictate what you measure and how frequently you measure it.
