Dress for Success Worldwide is an organization that has been near and dear to my heart since my very early years in the fashion community. It was such a treasure to celebrate our partnership last week with a beautiful event in collaboration with NEOUS. Huge thanks to the entire NEOUS and Olivela teams for their efforts to bring this moment to life! https://lnkd.in/gnBqJDcm

This past week, Olivela was thrilled to collaborate with London-based footwear and handbag brand NEOUS on an intimate dinner to celebrate over 13,000 days of training raised for the non-profit Dress for Success Worldwide. Hosted by Olivela’s CEO Stacey Boyd and NEOUS’s founder and Creative Director Vanissa Antonious, the dinner honored this partnership in which 20% of the proceeds from each product sold on olivela.com will support Dress for Success. Friends and supporters of Olivela gathered at New York restaurant, Palma, for an inspiring evening filled with dynamic conversation and female solidarity. Beyond a shared love of fashion, this collaboration embodies a mutual commitment to making a positive impact on women everywhere. “We extend our deepest gratitude to Olivela and NEOUS for their unwavering commitment to Dress for Success and the women we serve. The support from our corporate partners is fundamental to our ability to provide no-fee programs to unemployed and underemployed women in their pursuit of economic independence. Over the last 26 years, we’ve empowered over 1.3 million women. Today, the need for our work has never been greater as we serve increasingly more women of color, single mothers, migrant women, transgender, and women 60+. Thanks to our global affiliate network, we continue to meet women where they need and want to be met. As we embark on the next exciting chapter in our history, I am optimistic that with partners like Olivela and NEOUS by our side, we’ll be able to realize our vision of a world where all women thrive at work and in life.” - Dress For Success Chief Advancement Officer, Jan Mercer Dahms.
