Santos Vargas of Davis & Santos, PLLC in San Antonio was chosen to be president-elect of the State Bar of Texas. In the Texas Young Lawyers Association election, Alyson Martinez of Laredo was elected president-elect. In other results, the following individuals were elected to the State Bar of Texas Board of Directors: Jeff Weinstein, Diana Gomez, Jeff Work, Amy Rod, Andrew Spaniol, Chris Nickelson, Lowell Keig, Steve Alfonso Chiscano, Christopher Wrampelmeier and Rebecca Patterson Linehan. https://lnkd.in/gtuxyRUz

It was an honor to be invited to the Hispanic Bar Association of Houston’s 36th Annual Gala yesterday evening. We had a wonderful time celebrating “La Vida es un Carnaval” with some great friends. Congratulations to all of the award honorees. Justice Veronica Rivas-Molloy was honored as Judge of the Year. HBA President, Diana Gomez, was honored with the Trailblazer of the Year Award. And Houston City Attorney, Arturo G. Michel, was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award. It felt special to be in the presence of such an amazing group of lawyers. great work HisBA! Looking forward to the next one!
