This program is transforming asthma care through free, virtual asthma coaching sessions. In underserved communities, we focus on enhancing patients' understanding and self-management skills. Atopy Could Lead to Keratoconus in Children with High Myopia New study further links eye rubbing with the ectatic disease, manifested here as a response to longstanding systemic allergy. Early detection is essential to ensure timely treatment that stabilizes keratoconus’s progression. Many believe that Pentacam allows early identification of corneal ectatic disorders by providing information on thickness, elevation and curvature of the anterior and posterior faces. Researchers in Colombia estimated the frequency, severity and risk factors associated with the diagnosis of keratoconus according to Pentacam criteria among the pediatric population with high or oblique astigmatism or high myopia. New publication ✍🏼📚🔍 | Today we share with you our new publication exploring the parent’s perspective of respiratory syncytial virus and subsequent wheezing burden. Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) is the leading cause of hospitalization in infants. RSV bronchiolitis is associated with an increased risk of subsequent wheezing. Key takeaways for me: - Nancy Joseph, DO: Step therapy drives economic disparity. When multiple co-pays are needed to reach the therapy that their doctor ultimately wants to use, patients may stop "stepping" so that they can pay rent, buy food, or commute to work. - US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) & RAMP - Regional Asthma Management and Prevention: Interventional asthma home visit programs result in better outcomes and save money by addressing IEDOH (Indoor Environmental Determinants of Health).
