French nut created in 1909, it is the No. 1 beauty group in the world. The work done to diversify over time is just exceptional. The world quality of French touch can be seen here. It's a chance to count this group in France for many reasons. - More than 15,000 employees in France - More than 80% of the C.A. realized abroad - More than 50 Brands including national treasures (Lancôme, Mixa, Cadum...) LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton recorded revenue of $93.44 billion in 2023, equating to organic growth of 13% with respect to 2022.    Europe, Japan and the rest of Asia achieved double-digit organic growth. In the fourth quarter, organic revenue growth came to 10%.   Profit from recurring operations stood at $24.71 billion for 2023, up 8%. This week in Glitz: the global industry for vetiver—a plant whose essential oil represents a key ingredient for many perfumes—destabilised by security problems in Haiti, a sneak peek at LVMH's mid-year fiscal report set to be released at the end of the month, TAG Heuer reaps the rewards of the Barbie marketing phenomenon… 🌿 Home to the world's leading supplier of vetiver essential oils—a key ingredient in Dior, Chanel, and YSL perfumes—Haiti has been experiencing a years-long period of insecurity. This complicates not only the production and transportation of vetiver essential oils, but also the certification of distilleries—an important step to guaranteeing the sustainability practices of luxury houses. 📈 A few days after Richemont's release of their disappointing mid-year figures, Glitz was able to gain access to those of their main competitor, LVMH, and thus draw conclusions on the industry leader's upcoming development plans. 💅🏻 The Barbie film, though just barely out in theatres, is already an undeniable phenomenon, thanks to the vast and diversified marketing campaign deployed to create a buzz around the film… and, through association, boost sales for the brands that are riding the film's coattails. TAG Heuer, whose brand ambassador Ryan Gosling plays Ken in the film, has already reaped the benefits. But also: Sézane and Rouje face off in New York, a sharp increase in the dividends paid out to Hermès's heirs, and the Moma group tightens its grip on the famed Parisian Lapérouse restaurant.
