Sioux Falls and surrounding communities have faced unprecedented damage due to recent record-breaking rainfall. We at Sammons Financial Group were deeply saddened to hear about the destruction, particularly the impact on our community partner Camp Leif Ericson's campgrounds. In response to this disaster, we are committed to supporting the community's rebuilding efforts. We are pledging a total of $20,000, with $10,000 going to Camp Leif Ericson and an additional $10,000 to the local American Red Cross.

So honored to be a small part of preparedness, response and recovery:
I love this part of our work. A devastating tornado recently hit Delaware County, but in times of crisis, we stand together. The Delaware County Foundation is proud to announce that we're teaming up with the Red Cross to provide vital funds for local relief efforts. Today, I was able to present Cory Paul Executive Director of the American Red Cross of the Greater Columbus Chapter a check for $10,000. Together, we can make a difference. #delawarecountyohio #collaboration #CommunityStrong #RedCross #TornadoRelief 🏠❤️

If you are looking for ways to donate to support affected communities due to the Maui fires, there are two good options in the links of this post:
The devastating wildfires on the islands of Maui and Hawaiʻi have blanketed our islands over the past few days. We express our sadness and solidarity with all who are affected. While NTBG’s Kahanu Garden, located in Hāna, Maui is not directly threatened by the current fires, we are heartbroken for impacted family and friends. The destruction of the culturally and historically important town of Lāhainā is unimaginable. As the focus remains on rescue and recovery, we encourage you to consider helping affected communities through a recognized aid agency such as the American Red Cross of Hawaiʻi or the Hawaiʻi Community Foundation’s Maui Strong Fund.
