Reflecting on #ASCO24, I'm thankful for the opportunity to have learned so much about the emerging science that our collective oncology research community is driving forward - research that may lead to meaningful outcomes for patients living with cancer - as well as to have spent time engaging with the thought leaders and advocates who are leading this work. This includes the honor of providing closing remarks at Conquering Veteran Cancer, Together – an event that brings together leaders in oncology, from both public and private entities, for a common cause: improving the continuity of care for our veterans living with cancer through improved engagement between the VA, academic and community practice partners, and caregivers. In the U.S., about 450,000 veterans living with cancer are receiving care at a VA Medical Center, with more than 43,000 new cases diagnosed each year. Bristol Myers Squibb is proud to sponsor such an important and collaborative event. Thank you to the speakers and panelists for your engagement and extraordinary contributions to veterans. As we head into #ASCO24 and #EHA2024, I look forward to the breadth of data we’ll be presenting from our portfolio and pipeline, which support expansion into new indications, demonstrate long-term survival and highlight our novel modalities and research platforms. This is in addition to achieving significant regulatory milestones over the past several months as we work to bring transformative medicines to patients in need. We have great momentum heading into these important meetings and I look forward to engaging with so many of you while in Chicago. #BMS_Employee 

Last week, I had the opportunity to visit the Bristol Myers Squibb teams in Brazil and Argentina – two countries that play an important role in our research and development efforts and which contribute to clinical trials for our drug development programs, helping us identify new transformative therapies for patients. The teams in both countries are not just working hard to get new medicines to patients faster, but are also dedicated to increasing diversity in our clinical trials. We’re proud of the vast clinical trial footprint we have in Brazil and Argentina, and look forward to expanding our presence in the years ahead. It was a pleasure to meet thought leaders, investigators, and so many devoted employees who are working to make a difference for patients. #BMS_employee

This Memorial Day, as I think about the brave men and women who lost their lives to uphold our freedoms, I am grateful for the meaningful work being done year-round by Bristol Myers Squibb's Veterans Community Network (VCN).   The VCN at BMS has created a culture that supports military-affiliated employees and their families, including through recruitment of veterans entering the next chapter of their careers, dedicated community outreach, and partnerships with veteran-owned businesses. In addition, the VCN is helping to lead BMS’ efforts to raise the diverse representation of veterans in our clinical trials and reduce health inequities among this patient population.   It is my great honor as the executive sponsor of our VCN to help advance its mission and give back to veterans and their loved ones for their service and sacrifice. #MemorialDay #BMS_Employee

  After an energizing trip to visit our Bristol Myers Squibb colleagues in Boudry, Switzerland where we discussed our opportunities and challenges and toured our impressive manufacturing facility, I headed to our annual European Scientific Innovation Summit – this year in Madrid. It’s an event where we engage with experts from across the healthcare ecosystem to discuss the latest scientific advancements in our therapeutic areas of focus. We are working to address some of the hardest scientific challenges and it’s clear that we have much work to do. Each time I have a chance to connect with our teams and collaborators throughout the world, I always come back more inspired about what we can do, collectively, for patients. #bms_employee
