Finishing off the week with a simple question: What great teams know and do by Mark Miller. My key points - as I'm moving forward, and sense there are people going upward in their career. 1. Teams that #work well know that they have to fit in. One example is to follow closely or strong insights about our organization. 2. Teams that do well treat one another as a team. It sounded easy but not really that easy. We could start by reaching out, helping out, and gain some ideas about team members. 3. Teams that do remarkable work must at least have one passionate or two enthusiastic individuals. Otherwise, it is going to be weak spirit all day long. 4. Teams that do well enjoy working together in every project. In our line, it means every one in the research team (from research assistant, research associate, research fellow, and Principle investigators). 5. Happy team eats well - (This is my own addition to the book review) I'm bringing the experience to the new team, insya Allah. Sabbatical is over :)

Be thankful for all the good things in your life. I know things may be rough right now, but there is ALWAYS something to be thankful for. Surely there is something from this list that we can choose to be thankful for: 1. Health: Thankful for a strong body that allows us to navigate life's challenges. 2. Family: Grateful for the love and support of our family members. 3. Friends: Appreciative of the friendships that bring joy and companionship. 4. Job or Career: Thankful for the opportunities to learn, grow, and contribute to society. 5. Education: Grateful for access to knowledge and the chance to expand our horizons. 6. Nature: Thankful for the beauty of the natural world, from sunsets to forests. 7. Technology: Appreciative of the conveniences and connections technology provides. 8. Home: Thankful for a safe and comfortable place to rest and recharge. 9. Food: Grateful for nourishment and the flavors that delight our senses. 10. Challenges: Thankful for the lessons learned and personal growth that comes from facing difficulties. 11. Small Moments: Appreciative of simple pleasures like a good book, a warm cup of coffee, or a beautiful song. 12. Acts of Kindness: Thankful for the kindness of strangers and loved ones alike. 13. Opportunities: Grateful for opportunities to pursue dreams and aspirations. 14. Cultural Diversity: Appreciative of the richness that different cultures bring to our world. 15. Freedom: Thankful for the freedom to express ourselves and make choices. 16. Time: Grateful for each day and the chance to make it meaningful. 17. Mentors: Appreciative of those who guide and inspire us along our journey. 18. Pets: Thankful for the unconditional love and companionship of our furry friends. 19. Creativity: Grateful for the ability to express ourselves through art, music, and other creative outlets. 20. Inner Strength: Appreciative of the resilience and courage that allow us to overcome challenges.
