Endometriosis occurs when tissue similar to the lining of the uterus grows in other areas of the body, most commonly the pelvis. Impacting about 1 in 10 women of reproductive age, or up to 6.2 million women in the United States, it can cause severe, chronic pain, infertility and other health issues. There is a great need for increased awareness, education and research on the disease. #endometriosisawareness #endometriosis

When science becomes... perplexing, what's the word I should use? Women need to be tested three times because their partners might be reintroducing the infection to pregnant women again and again. So, why not ask the partners to get tested and treated? Sexual health is not a one-sided issue(and how about unborn one's rights). Regulators can create guidelines and say that's American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) directive, but that won't solve the problem for society. Of course, some doctors will say what we are doing is not science, but that's exactly why we created Calmara—to empower women to stand up. We need both sides to be responsible for the unborn one's health. When infectious diseases are concerning, one party has the right to ask the other party to take action. When governments don't take action, we do, but people will say "burn them." Regulators will force us to shut down, but... Mei-Ling Lu and I are not here to change the world in one year, we are here for the long haul. We will definitely change the world in 10 years. #hehealth #calmara #syphilis

We may actively contribute to our own well-being by being knowledgeable about fibroids. Knowing what to look for is essential, whether it's for diagnosing symptoms, talking with medical professionals about available treatments, or just being there for those affected. #FibroidAwareness #KnowledgeIsPower #WomensHealth #Empowerment #HealthEducation
