It can be hard too, when we surround ourselves with the wrong people. O try to be someone we are not. Everyone has something amazingly unique and special to bring to the table. It's a beautiful thing when someone is unapologetically themselves.

You present an interesting example. It may be possible to change places and still feel your worth is nothing. Somehow I don’t think value and self-worth are the same. Value can be objectively measured by what others are willing to pay for your goods or services. Worth is a mental construct which can easily be over or underestimated by emotional elements.

Value is situational and assessed relative to other existing available alternatives. So, to know your value, know your situation and your competition.

What an awesome analogy and sentiment. The best leaders/companies truly value their staff & their clients, and will go out of their way to make sure everyone feels the love. If you’re not feeling appreciated, don’t be afraid to make a change.

Best decision one can make is to decide to work for their purpose not their employer. If they align great. If they don't seek another path

Absolutely love this perspective, Samantha! It’s so empowering to realize that we have the choice to place ourselves in environments where our value is recognized and appreciated. The analogy with the water bottle perfectly illustrates how context can change perception. Thanks for sharing this! 🌟🚀
