Start Date: November 2022 When starting with a brand who’s ACOS is extremely high and unprofitable it’s essential to get this to a profitable level before we look at scaling sales. This was a necessary first step before sales growth could be looked at as we didn’t want to exacerbate the problem of high ACOS levels by turning up spending until the campaigns were in a position to get the best ROAS from that increased spend. With the past PPC strategy now largely broken down causing ACOS to drop by 50% in the first 60 days, it was time to turn the heat up on sales. A fully new scaling strategy was introduced to the account to take full advantage of the brand's assets through all-new sponsored product, brand collection, brand videos and display retargeting advertising. The combination of these campaign types and RJW’s unique keyword selection and bidding strategies to scale brands took immediate effect in increasing sales by 500% to well over £300,000 in a single month. The best sales days and months the brand had ever seen! This was no flash in the pan however as results have continued to maintain almost at or above £100,000 per month since RJW’s new strategies were introduced while ACOS has continued falling to 10% and under. This single product brand over the course of 6 months went from total sales of £30,000 p/m at a 40% ACOS to £200,000 p/m at a 10% ACOS. Needless to say, this brand's future has now been secured with RJW where we are now number one in the category and plan to launch more products to get the brand to £500,000 per month in sales. Continuing the subject of Sponsored Display VS Amazon DSP, here's a quick guide to help you decide which one suits your needs better. 1️⃣ Estimated Budget: If your budget is below the minimum spend required for Amazon-managed DSP campaigns, you can use Sponsored Display or work with a partner for DSP management. There are no spending requirements for Sponsored Displays. 2️⃣ Bidding Strategy: Sponsored Display offers CPC bidding, while Amazon DSP allows for impressions bidding. Choose Sponsored Display if you need CPC bidding. 3️⃣ Audiences: Sponsored Display provides access to Amazon audiences. If you require audiences beyond Amazon, you must use Amazon DSP. 4️⃣ Supply/Inventory: Both solutions have access to Amazon O&O inventory and trusted 3P inventory. If you need private marketplaces or a programmatic guarantee, use Amazon DSP. 5️⃣ Measurement: Amazon Ads reporting metrics are available for both solutions.
