We’re looking to sprout even more growth in the Carolinas! With three restaurants already open in Charlotte and more in development, we have other key cities open for growth.

To kick off #HealthcareAppreciationWeek last month, our Salata Mobile Kitchen (SMK) made a special visit to MD Anderson in Houston, TX, serving up delicious lunches to more than 170 dedicated staff members. It was our honor to express gratitude to these healthcare heroes during this important week of recognition!

Salata teamed up with Empty Bowls Houston to be the donating food vendor for the event. Empty Bowls Houston is a community event led by local artist and craftspeople in Houston, aiming to alleviate hunger within the local community. The 18th annual event, held this year, hosted 730 attendees who raised over $36,800 in bowl sales which created over 110,400 meals to give back to our community. Attendees had the opportunity to pick from thousands of handcrafted bowls for a minimum donation fee. All proceeds raised during the event are donated to the Houston Food Bank!
