11 Fundraising Ideas For School or Club Sports 💰Develop useful, eye-catching merch people actually want to buy. (Please, no more boring water bottles.) 💰Pick your “A-thon” (walk-a-thon, shoot-a-thon, etc.) where athletes can be sponsored. 💰Create a challenge for your athletes to raise funds independently and offer desirable prizes. 💰Host a skills clinic for younger ages. 💰Host a mini invitational with Olympic-style challenges and charge entry. 💰Sell seasonal, local goods at a premium in your concession stand. 💰Athletes Vs. Coaches game/meet 💰Community service fundraiser (rake leaves, mow lawns, garbage pick-up, carwash, etc.) 💰Recruit the lunch ladies, moms, and grandmas to help with a pancake breakfast feed or spaghetti dinner feed. 💰Get creative with team-themed clothes and hats. Your Next Cruise Fundraiser In many conversations I have had with nonprofits, I have seen a recurring theme of failed fundraising attempts or small-scale fundraising events.
