I hear this so often from my clients, I get it! But guess what, your photo needs to be authentic. It needs to look like who you are today. Otherwise you're not making a good impression when your clients meet you (online or in person).
So don't put off having your photo shoot because if you choose the right photographer for you (check out my Top Tips on my website to help you choose), then they will make you feel and look fabulous in your photos!

IS THIS MAN CLAPPING OR DOING FLAMENCO PALMAS?
This question demonstrates why you should give all your images good file names and use tagging when they are used.
Sure, it takes some extra time, and the person adding the photos needs to know the context and the audience, which takes some more time.
And, maybe you should send this one back to the photographer because this is an awkward photo to start with.
That’s a wrap!
5 Tips for a Successful Family Photo Shoot:
📸 Find a great photographer
We use the same photographer every year.
She’s fantastic, our kids adore her, and she can wrangle our kids’ goofiness.
📸 Adults, just keep smiling
Kids are wildcards! You can’t predict what they’re doing with their faces.
Your photographer has a better chance of capturing great pictures if the adults are consistently looking at the camera and smiling.
📸 Roll with the punches
You can’t predict the weather.
Your son might want to wear something unexpected, like a bow tie.
Ask yourself, “What do I really value?”
📸 Focus on the joy
When you look back on that perfect shot, you’ll fondly reminisce about the photo shoot.
You won’t remember all the stress that went into capturing that one perfect shot.
📸 Get the kids excited
Let the kids choose something.
This year, our daughters were all about their heels.
What would you add to this list?

💡Is it possible to have a successful business before you've even managed to build a website? Yes, it is - but before you eye roll and doom scroll, there's more to this story.

People have asked Shevonne how electro: has grown so fast, and she's unashamedly genuine about it:
🪟 The fast bit you've seen recently is like walking past a window and glimpsing out at a beautiful view for a moment in time.
🏔 Behind that view is millions of years of growth, devastation, rejuvenation, and evolution.
Behind electro: is two decades of experience, blood, sweat, rejection, tears, laughter, sadness, questions, learning, determination, loss, gain, and a pretty profound life moment.
Remember, that both success and failure can be fleeting. Behind every 'success' story is a set of unique challenges to calibrate and opportunities to leverage. The first step to the business you want is to meet your business where its at.
Now we've finished our Tedtalk, it's time for ☕️ #happysaturday
Some of the most dramatic & and prolific #portraits are regularly photographed on solid backdrops. While environmental portraits can be nice (photographed within an environment), they're often riddled with issues and are not feasible for some corporate needs. The logistics of environmental photography for brands simply don't pan out in a lot of cases. We end up with a lot of distractions or limitations, consistency issues, or fake-looking dropped-in backdrops. Trying to be too creative instead of GOOD is often the downfall of any project. If solid backdrops will get you better quality and more appeal, consider them over a complicated environmental backdrop. GREAT #headshots focus on the person, not the backdrop.

This photo can be considered one of the most difficult in my practice) It's all about the lack of technical facilities. Yes. Because I had a clear idea of what I should do, there was no clear picture. There were many variations. And so we settled on this result)) I am very pleased with the result. The customer is delighted.

Ever wondered what goes into those picture-perfect shots?
Here's a glimpse of the “controlled chaos” on my desk during a photoshoot. 😅
From navigating my mouse to arranging products just right, it's all part of the creative hustle.
Messy? Yes but it’s so worth it!
