EQUITY WITH EASE‼️ Helping 🏥healthcare organizations advance equity initiatives by integrating internal ➕ external strategies into the core of the business.
If you dont know where your organization is on the equity journey any initiative you try to push forward has potential to fail. This is why I dont like out the box equity services or trainings. Each organization is different and the road to equity ranges from monocultural ⬇ multicultural ⬇ antiracist ⬇ antiracist/multicultural/culturalhumility Take stock of where your organization is on this journey, then work to get buy in, and then develop actionable solutions. Executive Presence & Influential Leadership Coach | International Business Etiquette & Multicultural Communication Specialist | Personal Branding & Reputation Management for Global C-Suite | Head of Communications & PR
Rachel Seif & I connect naturally as we’re both foreigners in #Dubai. I appreciate her having a great energy and positivity! It’s never easy to start a business, shifting away from a comfort zone, diving into the unknown. Rachel chose to chart her own way. Her story resonates with me well - Very often, we can be our biggest enemy. We must fight this battle and beat our limiting thoughts! The entrepreneurial path is often a lonely one that’s full of bumps. We all go through emotional roller coaster. Let’s keep going. BRACE, BRACE! The darkest moment shall pass and we will find our purpose, our source of energy to continue with our business (and life) journey! Thanks again, Rachel, for your sharing! Quotes below, followed by a video interview and a chapter in our ebook. From financial accountant to tech entrepreneur: Rachel Seif's journey has been fuelled with passion, persistence, and empowerment. Growing up in a challenging family environment, life was far from easy. Money was scarce, and being a girl in a male-dominated world added extra hurdles. Rachel began her career as a financial accountant. But as time passed, she unearthed a deep-seated passion in the realm of technology that set her career on a new trajectory. Fuelled by a desire to make a meaningful impact, she pursued further education as a business coach, driven by the mission to empower women in business, particularly in the Arab world. Three years ago, she embarked on her entrepreneurial journey by founding her first company in Cyprus while still holding a full-time job. Two years later, she took another leap of faith and established her second company in the UAE, all while balancing her commitments in the corporate world. Now, after much deliberation, she’s decided to step out of her comfort zone and dedicate herself fully to her latest venture in the field of technology and marketing. TheBuzihub, her brainchild, represents a culmination of her expertise and passion for empowering businesses to thrive in the digital age. From humble beginnings to entrepreneurial success, Rachel’s journey epitomizes the transformative power of persistence. We hope her story will inspire you to tackle life’s challenges and translate them into success. 💡 Thanks Nadine Buckland for your wise words below around the importance of visibility and professional networks for female investors. And huge thanks for becoming one of Global Female Investors Network's first Global Founding Members. 🙏 While track record and performance obviously matter, being visible and well networked remains critical to building your brand and your business. The investment industry is as much a relationship business as any other. 🚀 At Global Female Investors Management, LLC, we are committed to creating greater connectivity and visibility for female investors and risk takers globally. We especially want to shine a light on female fund owners: to "emphasize the humanity" of female fund owners and founders and highlight how their background and experiences has enabled them to envision an investment philosophy that brings a unique or certainly different perspective to being a successful investor. #globalfemaleinvestorsnetwork #networksmatter #visibilitymatters
Friday food for thought: In the last two weeks I have taken part in two podcasts linked to two professional female in finance networks, I have started mentoring a new young lady linked to the GAIN UK charity and I have become the founding member of a new women’s finance network focused on women in investment decision making roles. You may ask why I am being so active in this arena. The presence of professional female networks is not just desirable in my view; it's essential. There are many reasons why I believe these networks are so vital but here are my top two: 1: Networking Opportunities: Networking is a cornerstone of success in finance, and professional female networks provide a platform for women to connect with peers, exchange ideas, and build meaningful relationships. These networks open doors to new opportunities, collaborations, and partnerships. The reality is being a female CEO for me can be lonely. It’s hugely supportive to have a network of other females in senior roles I can share experiences with. 2: Support and Mentorship: Professional female networks offer a safe space for women in finance to seek support, guidance, and mentorship. In an industry where women are often underrepresented in leadership roles, having access to experienced mentors can be a game-changer for career advancement. In summary, professional female networks are not just about networking; they are about empowerment, advocacy, and driving meaningful change in the finance industry. I'm proud to be part of a community that is committed to supporting and uplifting women in finance, and I encourage others to join us in this important endeavour. Powerful words and data to support the gender bias from male and female investors. The Prevention questions are clear as day, but great advice for what both investors and founders can do to navigate this bias and reframe their questions and answers. What a powerful talk & study. #investors #startup #experiencedgenderbias
Co-Founder & CEO at inqli. Relentless Architect of Possibility. AI for human flourishing. Social knowledge-sharing unlocks team productivity and wellbeing. #QuestionsAreTheAnswer #DigitalWellbeing #ResponsibleTech
As a female founder raising capital, this TEDx talk by Dana Kanze put words (and data) to something I've been experiencing "under the surface" of my own conversations with investors - regardless of their gender. If you're a founder, an investor or a VC of any gender - I urge you to watch and consider "The Real Reason Female Entrepreneurs Get Less Funding." We've all heard the stats. Despite 38% of startups in the US being founded by women, they still only get 2% of the funding. But why is this the case? My interest in this topic extends beyond gender bias. This talk breaks down how this bias shows up and what we can do about it. And it all comes down to the questions founders get asked by investors and how they respond. It turns out once again that #questionsaretheanswer ❓💡 ❓ I'd love to hear from my female founder friends who are raising (or have) raised capital and from investors too. Is this something you're aware of? How can we all take active steps to change this reality? Huge thanks to my friend Jean-Claude Monney for sharing this with me. 🙏 #investment #funding #startups #genderbias #askbetterquestions

Founder and Financial Advisor helping thriving families, women, and small businesses plan a future worth working toward.
I am not sure that I was born an #entrepreneur, but the spirit has blossomed in me, as I honed in on being a #businessowner not just a #financialadvisor. I love how entrepreneurialism allows me to bring authenticity, leadership, and creativity to Fusion Financial Group. To be held among a community of #women driving their businesses and following their dreams means so much. To be an example of going for it to young women is beyond words! #WomensEntrepreneurshipDay #businessownerlife #womenownedbusiness #workingmom #entrepreneurmindset #womeninbusiness
It's Women’s Entrepreneurship Month! 🎉 Meet Keri Pugh, a seasoned professional with almost 25 years of experience in the financial services industry! As a licensed financial advisor, Keri's journey began in 2013 when she was personally chosen by a retiring female financial advisor to become her clients' dedicated financial advisor. Keri's business philosophy revolves around building a diverse team of professionals from various backgrounds to create a dynamic approach to wealth management and financial planning. She is passionate about bringing underrepresented groups, like women and young people, into the industry. Attention to detail and effective client communication are the pillars of Keri's successful practice. Her team's commitment to these qualities sets them apart from other financial services offices. In challenging times, Keri finds inspiration in the words of Tony Horton: "Just keep pressing play" and "Do your best and forget the rest." Let's support other women entrepreneurs and empower the next generation of female financial leaders! #WomenEntrepreneurs #EmpoweringWomen
