The Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption works every day to raise awareness around the urgent need for foster care adoption. Part of our efforts is scaling our signature adoption program, Wendy's Wonderful Kids. Through this program, the Foundation supports the hiring of adoption professionals, known as recruiters, who use an evidence-based, child-focused model to find the right family for every child in their care. The model is up to 3x more effective in finding a permanent family for the youth it serves, including sibling groups, children with special needs and teenagers.
