With the deadline to register to vote in the UK General Election (18 June) fast approaching, Alex Sciannaca, Maddy Vincent, Yasmin Waljee OBE and I have been supporting The Politics Project's voter engagement efforts. They do hugely important work - eight million people were missing from the electoral register in the UK last year and millions more were registered inaccurately. We've put together the Voter Handbook, which, in line with the The Electoral Commission's guidance, provides a clear and simple guide to: voter registration; who can vote; the different methods of voting; and voter ID requirements. Please help distribute it widely ahead of the election. We're asking employers to share it with their staff and help increase voter registration and turnout.
