Unleashing the Power of KERS in Formula 1! Ever wondered how Formula 1 cars achieve those jaw-dropping bursts of speed on the track? The secret lies in the Kinetic Energy Recovery System (KERS) – a game-changing technology that's revolutionized the world of motorsport! KERS harnesses the kinetic energy generated during braking, converting it into electrical energy stored in a battery or flywheel system. When drivers need an extra boost of power, this stored energy can be deployed, propelling the car forward with incredible acceleration! Introduced to promote energy efficiency and sustainability in F1, KERS has become a vital component of modern racing, adding a thrilling dimension to every race. 🏎️🏆 #F1 #KERS #Speed #Innovation #RacingExcitement 🌟🔋

Extreme E is to establish a Hydrogen Working Group with F1 and the FIA ahead of the launch of the Extreme H season in 2025 The objective will be to monitor the progression of the technology for the fuel cell and battery system as well as hydrogen fuelled infrastructure at race sites. Given tech innovation trickles down to road cars and zero emission fuels already being rolled out to MotoGP and F1, are we likely to see the deflating of the E vehicle ballon and a balance eventuate? This may be already beginning with VW reporting a 50% drop in electric vehicle sales globally in their group.
