There is so much evidence that inequalities and misuse of power are used to maintain the current system. Current enforcement of censorship and exploitative pressures aimed at under-served groups for expressing their lived experience, makes the journey to Equity feel impossible. When the system uses false frameworks of legitimacy and regulations to unfairly identify who is eligible to be heard, who will be allowed to share their voice and who's message will be amplified. Keeping a balanced outlook can be challenging in the face of discriminatory practices. Which is why building supportive communities and professional spaces is so vital for creating change and improving wellbeing. Find out more about how D'Rose Academy will be supporting professionals, leaders and communities to #BeTheChange see the link in the comments.
