Employers want senior level HR candidates for entry level or mid-level pay. The competition is brutal for anything that is reasonably close to market wages, and if a position is posted as Remote or Hybrid, you are up against many candidates with excellent qualifications. Yes, there are jobs being posted. But when you are a Senior Level person, with a top notch resume and years of experience, $50k for a Bilingual HR Manager position (who will probably also be processing Payroll) is not worth even applying for most candidates. Businesses, you get what you pay for. If you want an experienced, Senior Level Professional, pay what they are worth. Or else you will continually cycle through marginally qualified people who aren't adding value to your company.
