Since 2014, GEN has issued annual, nationally cited rankings to indicate which regions are most competitive in efforts to attract life sciences companies 🛑 This year Philadelphia landed at #7 It's great we made the list, but being a Philadelphia resident, I wonder why we aren't higher on the list? Unpacking the list a bit... Philadelphia ranked 4th in patents 6th in lab space and NIH funding But Philadelphia was also... 9th in jobs and venture capital. 💡Takeaway: Philadelphia has a ton of talent and innovation.
