Expect the Unexpected!! You won't believe what happened to me, but there's a great lesson in it for us as network marketers. Last October, I went to Germany to visit my brother. I was super excited, but on a train ride, I lost my luggage. All of it. The only clothes I had were the ones I was wearing, and it was only the beginning of my trip! I had to make do with just those clothes for the whole time. They eventually found my suitcase, but get this—it didn't get delivered to my brother's place until months later. By that time, I was already back home. So, my awesome niece picked it up when she went on a trip and brought it back to Ontario for me. I was there visiting family, so on my way back home, I had two suitcases: the one I brought and the one my niece brought back from Germany. Now, here’s the kicker. I arrived in Halifax, and guess what? The suitcase I brought with me went missing! Like, seriously? How does that even happen?! I couldn’t believe my luck. I guess it’s just my special talent for losing luggage! So, what’s the lesson here for us network marketers? Expect the Unexpected: Just like I had to deal with losing my luggage twice, in network marketing, things don’t always go as planned. Be prepared for surprises and have a backup plan. Stay Persistent: I didn't give up when my luggage was lost. I found ways to get by and eventually got my things back. Similarly, in our business, persistence is key. Keep going even when things seem tough. Leverage Your Network: My niece helped me get my suitcase back from Germany. In network marketing, we rely on our network. Use the support and resources available to you through your team. Embrace Flexibility: I had to adapt quickly to my situation, just like we often need to adapt our strategies in marketing. Flexibility can help us overcome unexpected challenges and still reach our goals. Remember, every challenge is an opportunity to learn and grow. Keep pushing forward, stay adaptable, and lean on your network for support!

I was meeting with a potential client for my agency, Running With Strategy, and had a life-changing moment as a business owner... I was discussing all of the possibilities that can be had for an online coaching business. This business is ready to scale, but the owners are admittedly unsure of what direction to head in when it comes to expanding and growing from where they are currently. I feel honored that each and every day, I am able to take what knowledge I have, and what passion I have, and implement it into marketing strategies that businesses have not yet considered... When your passion fuels your fire, you feel unstoppable. I am eternally grateful that I have been blessed with the gift of serving others. Whether it be social media strategy, email list building, or even landing page copy, there is something so unique that we can offer to others. We have the gift that allows businesses to grow... 10 years ago I stumbled across the world of Network Marketing. I had no idea what it even was at the time. All I did was find a product I loved and told people about it and got paid when they started too. I remember thinking what an ingenious business model as I was always recommending things to people but the difference was I got paid when I did. At the time I was working long hours, had 2 small children aged 2 and 6 (it’s crazy that they were that young). I wasn’t looking for a business, in fact I had reduced my hours at work as I was chasing my tail and struggling with anxiety and had lost my confidence as a Physiotherapist. But when I saw the business model I thought “oh I can do that when the boys are in bed” and so that’s what I did. In the day I was Physio or Mum but at night I stopped watching shit on TV and scrolling on fb and started to build a business. It took discipline but it was 100% worth it as what started as a side hustle to earn a bit of extra income turned into replacing my income which turned into completely changing my life in every single way. I will be forever grateful someone shared network marketing with me and have and will continue to pay that forward as Network marketing was the life line I needed 10 years ago and could be someone else’s too. A few weeks ago I started part 3 of my Network Marketing career as I walked away from a company I loved and still do on to a new adventure. Just a few weeks in and this chapter looks set to be the best one yet as now I enter into this part of my life stronger than ever before, healthier than ever before but with all the lessons learned and experiences gained to pay forward as we grow and expand into the UK Market. The momentum is building and the energy is shifting and will continue to do so as we continue to grow and look for pioneers and UK Founding Members to partner with us. Whether you have been in Network Marketing before or not this business is for everyone. I just received an email from my network marketing company that it is my 5 year anniversary. While I have been with network marketing for 7.5 years, 5 years is really time spent fully invested in my business. I did NOT go right to the top. I had shown up with consistency to move my business forward for a long time. I wouldn’t have it any other way. I still have to show up even more than I did before, work harder now than I did to get here, because this business isn’t easy. But I can tell you it is so worth it. It is hard for me still to this day to watch people join and leave, or join and never start. Not because I’m mad, not because it’s a disappointment, but because they don’t see what this can be for themselves. I believe so deeply in everyone that joins me, because I was once you. I doubted myself, I doubted this industry, but people believed in me, showed up for me and showed me what was possible. I am still nowhere near where I want to be in network marketing. The top 2% is great don’t get me wrong, but I want to be the top 1%. Why? I mean money is awesome, but by me going to that place that means that others have gone with me. Other’s going with me means that they now have more options in life because of the income this opportunity can provide. I want that for people. Life is expensive, life will throw things at you that you don’t expected. This economy is rough. Making a decision to change your circumstance or add to the greatness of your circumstance is always a smart decision. Do you have a back up plan? Truly if you were to lose your job or get hit with a massive expense, what is your plan? If you don’t have one I highly recommend checking out network marketing. It is not for everyone, but for those that it is for, your life can change forever. Not to mention I have met the best people and new friends because of this company. I will make the next 5 years something to remember. I can’t wait to help other network marketers flourish!

Can I tell you a secret? There’s a reason why most of the personal branding gurus peddle impressions as a success metric. Meet Bob 👴🏼 Bob wants more clients. He’s only getting 100 impressions on his posts. So he scours the internet until he finds someone that promises to skyrocket his LinkedIn presence and get him 20 hot leads a day. Enter Destiny 🧜🏻♀️ When Destiny writes a post for Bob, the first thing she’ll do is engage with it to give it a boost. This pushes the posts out to HER audience, and Bob’s average views jump from 100 to 6,000 overnight. He also gains 1500 new followers along the way. The graphs are all green. Bob is creaming himself thinking of all the revenue to come, whilst Destiny immediately wraps this initial “growth” up in a case study and starts pushing it as proof of success. But there’s a problem. Bob doesn’t actually sell personal branding. He sells enterprises level software to the CTOs of legal scale-ups. The once small but highly relevant feed he had before has been replaced with cheat sheets, motivational quotes, and AI- generated platitudes from halfway across the world. Fast forward 6 months, and the tsunami of qualified leads has not followed as promised. When Bob questions Destiny about this, she shows him the impression numbers. Bob responds by showing his empty bank account. Destiny realises the jig is up. It’s been a good run of cash, and she’s already managed to use Bob’s stats to snare another poor unsuspecting soul with shallow knowledge and deep pockets. She lives to fight another day. Meanwhile, Bob is 25k down and now has a very large fatberg clogging his pipeline. And so the cycle continues until the end of time. Don’t be like Bob. Always ask to see the metrics that actually matter. If they tell you it’s “impressions”, run away as fast as you can. #PersonalBranding #LinkedIn #Marketing

I woke up one day and decided To start “The Marketing Healer”. No! (I planned it for 6 months) And I was wanting to do this since 2023. I won’t say it happened instantly I’ll tell you the TRUTH. I was told that my position at my company was no longer needed and I was on 2 months Notice Period. I had the habit of updating myself Therefore I had marketing related resources But they were scattered. I started reorganizing them. I followed 12 Newsletter's And gathered courage to Actually Plan. I was stuck numerous times. I would: - Read guides, articles on how to start a business - Watch YouTube videos - Note important points in my diary (I’m old school) - Make an excel of steps to follow - Find free tools to use - Learned prompt engineering (I gathered1000+ prompts) Then I started the process: - Decided the Name and registered Domain Name - Bought Hosting services after analyzing 20 providers - Designed my company Logo - Did competitor analysis by using tools - Analyzed 20 websites (Canada) and 20 (India) - Learnt what audience was enjoying reading - Started writing website content - Discussed my website design and started working on it - Did keyword research and shortlisted 50 keywords - Started crafting blogs using relevant keywords - Made my LinkedIn company page - Started posting content and launch offers The result? - Great views on LinkedIn - Have 100+ followers from across globe in 4 weeks - 5 inquiries about the launch offer - Increasing people engagement - Audience is already excited about launch Its essential to focus on planning: ✅It helps you in navigating your end goal within your budget ✅ It makes you feel more confident and less doubtful Plan, Implement and Start. Why you don't need a fool-proof strategy Can we get real for a second? I know that one of your biggest desires is to have a marketing strategy for your business that just works. It gets you the results you want. You don't have to think about it, you just do it. A strategy that is fool-proof. Works every time. Right? Wouldn't that just make life so much easier? Except... It doesn't work that way. Nothing is 100% fool-proof. Your audience changes, the industry changes, society changes (remember 2020?!) And when we get fixated on the idea that there is one method for you and you won't rest till you find it - you will always be searching. And always feeling disappointed. Because nothing works consistently the way you want it to. Algorithms change, platforms come and go (remember Blab, MySpace, Google Plus?), how we consume information changes and how we buy changes too So instead of trying to find the 'one' method that will be the answer to all your problems and get you all the clients you need, I recommend being open and curious about what would work for you right now. - What do you have passion for? - What are you curious about? - What would you like to try out? Get curious and start from there. Because here's the thing no-one talks about... When you do find a method that works for you - you evolve and change too so what worked for you 2 years ago might not work for you anymore. The 4 steps to finding your marketing FLOW [Especially if marketing isn't your best friend - yet!] 💛 Follow your intuition 💙 Lean into your strengths ❤️ Open yourself to opportunities 💚 Work smart, not hard If you want to find a better FLOW in your marketing in 2024, I would suggest following these 4 steps: 1. Follow your intuition Trust your gut and show your uniqueness. Ignore all the shoulds and forget all the “best practices” - do what feels good to you instead! 2. Lean into your strengths Find what brings you joy and have fun with your marketing. How do you enjoy being creative? Lean more into that! 3. Open yourself to unusual opportunities Be open and follow the flow of energy. Approach connecting with people with the "human first, prospect second" rule in mind. 4. Work smart, not hard Do less, but better and do it intentionally. And if you do steps 1 and 2 properly, marketing should feel more like play than work anyway. Yes, I know there's more to it. But I truly believe that these 4 steps play a crucial role! What helps you to find FLOW in your marketing? Is it planning? Regular creative routine? Is it talking things through with someone else?
