April is a month of profound significance. It's #SexualAssaultAwarenessMonth, a time for raising our collective voice against the scourge of sexual violence and standing in solidarity with survivors. But amidst this awareness, April also carries a powerful theme of #hope. In our latest blog post, "Hope Observed," our staff psychologist, Nithya, dives deep into the theme of hope. She challenges conventional definitions of hope, showing how it defies linguistic bounds and becomes a lived experience, intricately woven into the fabric of human existence. One poignant anecdote she shares is of a father witnessing his son's graduation from a recovery program. Through tears of joy and resilience, the father finds renewed hope in his son's journey towards recovery. It's a testament to the transformative power of hope, transcending mere words and theories.
