The Royal Highland Show is not only Scotland's biggest outdoor event, but the largest gathering of the agricultural community. From tomorrow, thousands of farmers, crofters, and rural workers will come together at Ingliston to network, catch up, and discuss industry issues where conversations about the future of farming and innovation will always arise. A recent episode of THE SCOTSMAN PUBLICATIONS LIMITED 's Sustainable Scotland podcast discussed farming technology, innovation, and AI, exploring the latest trends, breakthroughs, and their implications on rural industries. The episode includes views from Alan Laidlaw, Chief Executive Officer at RHASS, and Bill Gray, Estate Manager at Preston Hall, former Chairman of RHASS, and current RHASS Director. After an entire lifetime working in the agri supply sector I can say it is by far the best show and I’m my opinion has kept to its core values over time. Tomorrow will see me clock up 40 shows in the last 44 years.
Great show again this year! Very well attended yesterday and despite a sharp shower at the end of the day, had a great time and fully enjoyed the day as usual, long may it continue as show case for all that is good about British Agriculture and the great work our farmers do often without any recognition!
Brilliant event! We’re so excited to be back here once again 🙌
