Experienced Charity leader. Chair of ACEVO. Passionate about people. Currently Chief Programmes Officer at IntoUniversity.

Always a pleasure and a privilege to spend a day with this clever and passionate bunch exploring how we as ACEVO support and challenge civil society leaders to make the biggest possible difference. Also Birmingham looking lovely in the (small window of) sunshine.

Proud CEO of ACEVO, the membership body for civil society leaders in England & Wales. Passionate champion of all things social action. Also proudly a trustee of Access Foundation & chair, Reach Volunteering.

Heading home from Birmingham after the most energising, inspiring, ‘big thinking’ day with our board and SMT for the next step in developing our new strategy. I started the day feeling gratitude for the board and senior team I get to work with, and I’m finishing the day feeling as much if not more gratitude. LOTS to do before it becomes a coherent, cohesive strategy for our next chapter but so much brilliant, insightful and thoughtful material to work with. Thank you Frances Brown for facilitating, Diana Collier for organising everything to go so smoothly, and Rosie Ferguson Andrew Copson Rashid Iqbal Sarah Atkinson Neil Heslop OBE Kye Lockwood, FRSA Jools Townsend Anne Wallis, OBE Roberta Fusco Pete Johnson Yetunde Ogundele and Jonathan Ellis FRSA for giving me some really exciting (and appropriately challenging!) stuff to think about. My brain is fizzing! 🤣
