Want to write your blogs faster - and still keep the quality high? Here's a few things I do: 1) Set time limits. Work will expand to fill the time you give it. If you give it "I dunno, until it's finished", I guarantee you will spend far longer than you need on research, writing, and editing. There isn't really an end point to research, in particular. But, at a certain point, more research stops being helpful and just turns your blog into an info dump. I'd typically cap out research at 2-4 hours (depending on the project, how familiar I already am with the subject matter, and how research-heavy the piece needs to be.) Writing a blog typically takes me 8-10 hours, spread over two days - obviously, this varies a lot too, depending on the type of project. YMMV. 2) Accept imperfection. You are not, not matter how long you work at a blog post, going to make it perfect. It's just not possible. In fact, if you keep tweaking and adding and mucking about with it, you might actually make it worse. Decide on what "good enough" looks like for you, and when you've hit that marker, stop. 3) Use time blocks and/or the Pomodoro Technique. I know that some people like to get into flow and keep cranking for hours. I am not one of them. In fact, I've found that I get more done if I work for a pre-defined block of time, then take a break - get up, move around, think about something else - and then come back to the project again. 4) Be honest with yourself about what you're actually doing with your time. Are you really working, or are you vaguely "researching" while actually just mucking about on LinkedIn or whatever? Apps like Toggl or Rescue Time can help you track how much you're really working. 5) Pre-define the steps of your projects. I work from a checklist in Todoist. Depending on the project, mine looks a bit like this: - Read brief and check links - Contact client with any questions about the brief - Source SME quotes - Find relevant studies/research/stats - Create 80% outline (that's a detailed outline with all the H2s, H3s, research, and quotes in one place) - Write v1 - Edit v1 - Make a clean copy and update share settings - Send to client - Address client edits (if any) - Notify client Hope it helps!

Setting time limits and time blocks have been game-changers for me, especially with researching. It's so easy to fall down a Google rabbit hole if you don't build a structure around your research.
