On the surface, a secure method to protect against ammunition theft is a good idea and better than leaving it on a shelf in a store. Facial recognition and card scanning tech have been around for years and are pretty good but not foolproof. And I understand that (AI-powered) buzz is all the rage in marketing. But the Cyber guy in me starts wondering how this connects, what tech it is running on, what apps, what AI models, who put it all together, what their security protocols are, and many others. The problem is that we just don't know. I have looked at the company's website, which doesn't provide any info on this. Regardless of what you are selling or producing when you use technology, you have to make sure it's secure. Right now, all we know is that the physical box seems secure, and that's it. You would think they would want people to know that the tech they created or use is the safest and most secure it can be and backed up with data.
