Meet the newest member of our ROGER team, Command Sergeant Major (Ret) Mike Crosby. As a retired CSM, Michael (Mike) C, MBA believes that taking care of service members and families is a responsibility that transcends active service. Mike said, “It involves leveraging years of leadership experience to mentor and support former and current service members. This role means providing guidance on career transitions, helping Soldiers navigate the often-challenging shift to civilian life, and advocating for their needs in various forums. Ultimately, taking care of the military community means continuing to embody the values of leadership, duty, and compassion. It is about ensuring that their well-being and that of their families is prioritized, their achievements recognized, and their challenges addressed as a small token of appreciation for their commitment to the nation and their legacy of service.” Well said, Sergeant Major! Thank you for all that you have done and continue to do for our nation’s service members and their families.
I was about 12 months from retirement and he was passing thru Liberty in his civilian job and stopped by the BDE to discuss his orgs capability brief with me and seek some advice. But i was the real winner, because Mike sat in my office for the 2 hours and gave me every lesson learned from his transition and even ran me thru the VA apps for awareness. Needless to say, my transition was flawless. And he was a big reason for that! And now i pay that same guidance forward tenfold to those I can help.
Great news! Congratulations!
