Hi Guys. If you cast your minds back about 3 weeks, you'll remember us posting about a new NSP maintenance system that we were hoping to articulate. I shall leave you to be the judges, but if you ask us, it's working very nicely. Now you can again see that the water "body" is not the issue. The "water" quality is absolutely perfect, but water is a "carrier" of information, thus a carrier of nutrient. If you don't have anything to recycle that nutrient body, it will build up. If mixed through the movement of the "fluid" body, it will become "suspended" within that body and make the water appear "turbid". That is why rivers often look misty, rather than clear. It doesn't necessarily mean that they're out of balance with nature, it just means that they're heavily occupied ~ as it were. If water is TOO heavily occupied, the occupant material will eventually affect the balance of the water chemistry. That is what we term "pollution". Water bodies incapable of resolving occupancy levels alter their arrangement, often leading to stagnation in some specific areas, but rebirth in others, where the nutrient load has been radically diminished through evasive countermeasures. Although we might not think it so, all the water on Earth is recycled through a closed system, back to the top of a river somewhere. It's not like it pops off to the Moon or Saturn for a cheeky refresher is it? (~ well not for the moment anyway. We'll save that for another day 😉) The material carried is absorbed through predation, or recycled by other means such as precipitation, oxidation, oxidization and ionisation (among other enlivening and/or filtration techniques); such that when it pop's back out of the ground it's a crystal-clear, mountain spring again. Lovely. NSP's are ALSO closed systems, but the system "scale" is far smaller in comparison. It's easier to 'remove' the unwanted occupancy and feed it to a predator or two yourself. Our occupant was 4 months of Algae growth. The predator is our neighbour's vegetable garden. The water, just like up the mountain "Remains" crystal-clear, as if it's a mountain spring. #worldwatercommunity
