Time to take our own medicine! I’m pleased to share that I have a new responsibility for the firmwide AI transformation of McKinsey & Company, as well as continuing as Global Leader of McKinsey Digital. Internally, we’re calling it McKinsey Rewired! As we say, Rewiring is a full team sport, and it’s fun to do it with friends. I get to work with Alex Panas and Axel Karlsson on helping our industry and functional client service be tech enabled. With Ozgur Tanrikulu on thinking through what this means for our people strategy, and helping our people grow to be the business and technology leaders of the future (and, not or). With Jacky Wright, our chief technology and platforms officer. With Travis Fagan Thomas Baumgaertner Erik Roth and others who have jump started our internal genAI journey. We hit our four millionth Lilli use this week. With Yuval Atsmon to make sure we are grounded in a real business case With Frederic "Fritz" Nauck and Pierre Gentin to make sure we are a benchmark for safe and responsible use of technology and building digital trust With Dr. Nora Fietze on our knowledge and capabilities and firm operations With Shelley Stewart III on evolving our firm’s reputation to accelerate the journey of being as known for technology as we are for strategy. With Asutosh Padhi on how this helps advance our strategy and innovations. With Noshir Kaka Lareina Yee and Ben Ellencweig and others on our alliances and ecosystem. And of course with Bob Sternfels and our regional leaders Joe Ngai Gautam Kumra Gassan Al-Kibsi Massimo Giordano Eric Kutcher and Tracy Francis on making it happen and engaging the nearly 3000 partners across our firm. Meanwhile in McKinsey Digital, I could not be prouder of our leadership team. We’re elevating our three practices of QuantumBlack, AI by McKinsey, Leap and McKinsey technology to increase our emphasis on them and to help them enable digital client impact, collaboratively across our firm. #mckinseydigital #rewiredbook.
Sounds like fun. Have fun rewiring! 🔌
no one better to help rewire the wiring! congrats!
Just a small task added to your day job! Look forward to following, and importantly learning, from your personal and corporate journey.
So...when I was at the Firm, I was taught question 1 of any transformation is what the goal of the transformation. What's your goal? Glad you have awesome colleagues! (And agree that every one of those that I've met are indeed awesome.) But a series of shoutouts does not a problem statement worksheet make.
Inspiring! Sounds like you have the dream team. Wish you the best!
Congratulations. In for a penny .....
Amazing, congratulations. Excited to see the work as it develops further.
