For our Telecom customers and partners, we've been intentional to support Graviton adoption since the launch of Graviton 2. It's inspiring to have telco engineering teams globally embracing this journey and getting non stop innovation with massive improvements in each generation. With Graviton 4 instances (EC2 R8g), customers now get up to 30% better compute performance, 50% more cores, and 75% more memory bandwidth compared to the previous Graviton 3. And 60% less energy. Most telco workload have live references with Graviton in production. We are just getting started, exciting times ahead! #graviton4 #telco #aws #speedmatters #longtermthinking #customerobsessed Read more about this advancement:

Datadog has a unique position to observe how #containers , not limited to #kubernetes but also including #serverless solutions, are used by many companies around the globe. The report they published is very interesting and you can find a good summary of the main topics here: https://lnkd.in/guJFCrd Interesting to notice the growing adoption of #ARM based compute. Better #FinOps practices and better usage of HPA (e.g. introducing #KEDA) could reduce the waste of resources that also this year is reported looking at the gap between CPU and Memory requests versus real usage.

With each new generation of Amazon Web Services (AWS) #Graviton Arm has a chance to move more of our #EDA workloads onto Arm architecture. With AWS Graviton4, which uses the Arm #Neoverse V2 core, we can now move a wider range of workloads to Arm that weren't feasible previously. And we're seeing 20%+ gains on both #performance and #cost savings over prior generation instances.

Interesting insights from DataDog on container ussage. No2 speaks about the rate of addoption of containers for GPU based workloads which is not that surprising. However the claim that you could simply move from one provider to another if you containerise your gpu workload seems a bit bold to me. what do you think? https://lnkd.in/dycYa4AY
