My favorite products are the ones that last generations. Yes, we still love you when you don’t buy that shiny new red wagon. 😊 It may seem counter-intuitive, but we’ve built our products to last so you can repurpose the one you already love (sustainable and memorable!). Lauren, we hope your family continues to enjoy your little red wagon for years to come! “For Mother's Day, my father refurnished my classic Radio Flyer wagon for my son. I was so shocked when I saw the wagon. It was so fun to see my childhood wagon get a second life. Growing up, we used the wagon every day - it was always in tow! The wagon sparked our imagination and gave us a little bit of freedom. My son loves his new wagon. We’ve already taken many long walks in it, and I truly believe he looks forward to the wind blowing in his hair! He laughs and smiles so much while riding. The latest addition to our stroller wagon line…the Voya XT Stroller Wagon!   On-the-go families are gravitating to stroller wagons due to their enhanced durability and hauling capacity compared to their less fun stroller alternatives. After extensive consumer research, we learned many competitive stroller wagons were too bulky and required accessories to be removed to fold the wagon. This adds an extra challenge for busy families looking to get from point A to point B in a breeze. The Voya XT Stroller Wagon was innovatively designed to fold with all of its included accessories attached.   We’ve sure come a long way from the iconic little red wagon. 😉

Let me introduce you to Oz, a dog who loves outdoor adventures! Oz's story is a testament to how our products can spark joy and bring happiness and support to families’ lives. Our mission goes beyond making wagons; it’s about creating smiles and memories for everyone, including our furry friends. “Oz was diagnosed with osteosarcoma which required a front leg amputation and chemotherapy. We have always been an extremely active family with our two pups. We spend most of our days outside with them hiking, walks on the beach, and daily adventures. Wherever we go, they go! As you can imagine this news devastated us, but we knew we had to stay positive for Oz. Thanks to the Radio Flyer wagon, Oz’s adventures did not have to come to an end. He can do more than he was before the amputation because he has a way to take breaks and rest now! His tail wags the entire time he is in the wagon as he is filled with the happiness and adventures he loves.” – Jennifer H. from Maine

I learned from my grandpa (founder of Radio Flyer) that great design is one of the most powerful ways to build a brand that stands the test of time. I know he’d be so proud of the fact that our Product Development team took home TWO of the prestigious Red Dot Design Awards this year for the Momentum Jogging Stroller and Voya Quad Stroller Wagon!

Proud of our team for spending another day supporting communities in need! Flyers are spending time this week celebrating #Juneteenth by volunteering around Chicago at organizations like Beyond Hunger, Big Shoulders, and Nourishing Hope.

We are joining the global community in celebrating the first-ever #InternationalDayofPlay! It’s great to see something we’ve known and advocate for become a celebrated day. 😊   According to the International Day of Play Network, 97% of people believe play is important yet one in three kids do not have the time to play. Play has an important role in building cognitive, emotional, creative, social, and physical skills, among many others. It’s why our mission is to bring smiles and warm memories to kids of all ages through products that inspire active, imaginative play.   Take time to play today!

Welcome to Breakfast with the CWO! Every year, I meet with interns and new Flyers to share Radio Flyer’s history and the personal lessons I’ve learned over the years. It leads to a great dialog and refuels my excitement for all that’s to come on Radio Flyer’s journey. My favorite question from this morning was “What advice would you give yourself at the beginning of your career?” The answer? It will happen, but it will take longer than you expect so be patient. Also, start an internship program ASAP. 😊
