Here are some intriguing insights from our conversation: 🧠 While AI may enhance human productivity to reach average levels, it's important to remember that true creativity stems from the complex functionality of our brain that are not completely understood by neuroscientists. Algorithms learning from past data can't replicate new ideas. 🌱 We find ourselves in an era of increasing consumption, and AI is a tool that only addresses problems that were created by technology, rather than those inherent in nature. I appreciate that we are given clear direction on how to best incorporate AI and other emerging technologies into our curriculums, with a balance of ethical consideration, best practices, and sometimes winging it to learn, re-evaluate, and redeploy based upon what you have learned. UT is as vested in the process for experimentation and exploration as it is in the final deliverable. And that is super valuable for students to learn.
