Another satisfied client. This gentleman’s case is a great example of why we always have our clients photograph their injuries throughout their case where possible. His injuries included permanent scarring. Fortunately, the client had the wherewithal to take photos of the initial lacerations from the day of the incident. Since my paralegal Ashley and I had him capture clear photos of the scarring as it developed later on, we were able to maximize this recovery to his satisfaction. Please don’t hesitate to message me or call/text at 646-450-6112 if you or someone you know has been seriously injured. Attorneys: we pay referral fees in accordance with the New York Rules of Professional Conduct.

"And" makes you un-referrable. Ideally, you want to help your referral partners build a habit of referring to you. James Clear reminds us that habits start with a cue. The cue tells you, "It's time to start habit X." If the cue isn't obvious, you'll never start the habit routine even if you want to. You need to make it obvious when it's time to make a referral to you. It's not obvious to your referral partners if you have to use the word "and" when you tell them what you do. Example: "I do white collar criminal defense, and personal injury, and some real estate litigation." You're making it too hard for them to know when to refer to you. Even if you do all of those things (though you probably shouldn't), it's not dishonest to tell the person who's likely to refer you injury cases, "I do personal injury cases involving car accidents." You don't have to say the same thing to every person. Eliminate the word "and" from your description of what you do and you'll immediately be more referrable.

Quality Support. Minimized Costs. Maximized Results. Redefining the Way You Experience Legal Nurse Consulting | Medical Malpractice Strategist | Co-Author: Medical Record Analysis: A Guide for Attorneys by Expert LNCs |
I'm Allison Dickson, and my niche is plaintiff medical malpractice case analysis. I want to share a golden nugget of wisdom that has been instrumental in my journey to success. It's about the power of narrowing down your niche. Yes, you heard it right! In a world where we're often told to "think big," it can seem counterintuitive to focus on a smaller, more specific area. But trust me, it's a game-changer. Narrowing down your niche is like sharpening your arrow before you aim. It allows you to target your audience with precision, making your message more impactful and your services more valuable. When you focus on a specific niche, you become an expert in that field. You understand the needs, wants, and pain points of your audience better than anyone else. This expertise not only sets you apart from the competition but also builds trust and credibility with your audience. Remember, trying to appeal to everyone often results in reaching no one. But when you narrow down your niche, you can create a strong, loyal customer base that values your unique offerings. So, my friends, don't be afraid to narrow down your niche. Embrace it. Own it. And watch as it propels your business to new heights. “Why should I hire someone who’s going to take a percentage of the winnings?” When people are considering hiring a personal injury lawyer like myself, this is one of the most common objections we hear. People hate the idea of losing money more than they like the idea of gaining money – which, in this instance, is irrational. Working with a lawyer, you’re in the best position to end up with way more money in your pocket than you would by trying to handle the problem by yourself. You may be giving some money to a lawyer, but the end result is still you with more money in your pocket and less hassle on your end. In my opinion, that seems like a no-brainer.

Recent Results? Are you an Attorney interested in supplementing your income through the referral of a personal injury case? Most, if not all of my cases are obtained through “word of mouth referrals”. In NYS, the law allows for fee sharing among attorneys provided certain criteria are met. Here is a sampling of recent cases that were referred to me, and I shared my fee with referring attorneys: $800,000.00 settlement to victim of motor vehicle collision. A Grand Island Police vehicle passed through a red light striking my client who sustained various injuries. $1,500,000.00 award to victim of a motor vehicle collision. $85,000.00 settlement to husband and wife injured in a motor vehicle collision. In each of these cases, 100% the clients and 100% of the referring attorneys were completely satisfied with the results. If you believe that you may have a potential referral, call or text (716) 648-6666. In many cases, the call is life changing and all calls are completely confidential.
