Team members enjoyed their time at the David L. Nett Staff Training Day earlier this week, where they were able to reconnect with clients and old friends and make new connections. Thank you, Capital Area IU and Lincoln IU, for organizing this event. #K12architecture

CONSTRUCTORS GUILD™ - MOAI DINNER SERIES: We're at it again. The Constructors Guild™'s Moai dinner series is happening again on Thursday March 28th, 2024 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm. Topic: 𝐁𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 - 𝐔𝐧𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐲 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐬 NOTE: This topic/evening is meant for those who have or are currently experiencing some challenges within the industry, with their business, or their careers. Everyone within the industry, those serving it as well as those working in parallel with it. It’s all encompassing as we have so much to learn from each other. If you are on the list of invitees, it’s because I value your knowledge, experience, and wisdom. We are 50% full and are opening the opportunity for others to be considered. If the thought or topic resonate with you, then DM me directly. #community #construction #constructionindustry #constructorsguild P.S. In case you are wondering what others are saying about their experience, here are some of those in their own words: "The Constructors Guild's moai dinner was an excellent opportunity to meet with construction industry leaders to discuss potential solutions to the housing crisis. Our vast experiences and knowledge bases contributed to insightful discussion. Gianluca did a great job of selecting and seating the attendees to encourage participation, and the food and service was excellent too!" - Lesley Sterling "It was a great way to meet and connect with like minded people in the industry. There was a wide-range of people who all had very valuable and meaningful contributions It was very positive to focus on how to fix, instead of just what is wrong. It was a very uplifting and gave me hope for the future of the industry." - Faren Bogach "Great initiative to get people who really are interested in passion about the construction ministry to get involved and you know start a movement or association that really hopefully will have a strong effect in the future for the good of the industry and the people in it with good, you know under scoring fundamental values and morals" - Joseph Filippo, MBA "Last week, I attended[sic] a dinner that left me feeling hopeful about the construction industry. It was deep genuine conversation that I think many of us crave, but may not be comfortable having with our immediate coworkers. Even if you are having sincere conversations with your coworkers, you definitely will not get as much of a range of perspectives as you would from one of these dinners. We had people from every part of the industry, niches I didn’t even know existed. Honestly, I left and drove home in silence cause there was just so much to think about. I would highly recommend attending the Constructors Guild dinners and events and supporting Gianluca on his mission to improve the industry through important conversations that inspire action and connection." - Keara Guay

Community, Culture, and Collaboration When we hear the word " community," many of us think of our neighbors and friends or perhaps a group of people who share common interests or goals. But for us at Pittsburgh Yards, the community is a little different—it's about how we live, work, and play together. It's about how we support each other through good times and bad. It's about our shared sense of culture and belonging to the NPU-V district of Atlanta. We're proud that more than 50% of our business leaders and co-working members are residents of Pittsburgh and other neighborhoods in the NPU-V. That's why we need to stay connected to these communities: they make us strong and give us a sense of purpose that allows us to go above and beyond for our clients daily. 📌Find out more about Pittsburgh Yards and how to apply https://bit.ly/3Cdh7Hk. 💡Contact Us – https://bit.ly/3NcIW8O 💡Gallery – https://bit.ly/42hCrWE 💡Events – https://bit.ly/3Ca1ekH 💡Community Green/James Bridges Field Application – https://bit.ly/3Nc3rCv 💡News – https://bit.ly/43mvJzM 💡Pittsburgh Yards At A Glance – https://bit.ly/3Cetq69 #pittsburghyards #atlantacoworking #coworkinglife #coworkinglifepittsburghyards #officelifepittsburghyards #coworkingpittsburghyards #coworkingspacenpuv #coworkingcommunity #officecommunity #coworkingsouthsidebeltline #virtualoffice #coworkinglifestyle #office #coworkingspacesatl #coworking #workspace #officespaces #atlantacoworkingalliance #coworkingspacepittsburghatl #coworkingspacesummerhill #coworkingspacemechanicsville #coworkingspaceadairpark #coworkingspacepeoplestown #corporatecoworkingspace #corporatecoworking #coworkingatlanta #atlantabeltline #atlantabeltlinesouthsidetrail #jamesbridgesfield

KPI Engineering, Inc. professionals did their final walk through of the Bradford County School District elementary/middle school in Starke Florida. Funded by the The Florida Department of Education, this project now opening is the culmination of many years of planning and hard work in seeking funding. In fact, KPI Engineering Vice President and Operations Officer, Luis Vargas travelled to Tallahassee with Bradford County School Officials and architect Paul Stresing to advocate for its funding about five years ago. The approval was still met with obstacles and challenges including the reallocation of funds toward safety measures in school as a result of the unfortunate shooting incident at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida in 2018 and COVID related reallocations in 2019. Needless to say, it is a joy to see this campus finally completed. Its impact will be significant. It replaces multiple schools found to have met and exceeded their useful life and needing replacement as part of a Castaldi Study completed in 2016. While KPI professionals are excited about the project's completion, we are more excited about those the school will serve and their excitement - see for yourself in this video prepared by the District - https://lnkd.in/e-kyJd_6 Castaldi Studies | Building Systems Assessments | New or Renovated Schools - three more ways, KPI has YOU Covered! Contemplating what is home Arriving in #Sheffield yesterday I genuinely felt that this sign was made and placed there just for me. I was proud to call Sheffield home for 6 years and the pickly scent from the Hendos factory gently fragranced the English department where I studied for the first 3 of those years. It always feels, in some way, like I'm home in Sheffield even when I'm visiting. For the last 2 days I've led round 3 of our strategic review workshops with the wonderful team at VAS (Voluntary Action Sheffield). At this point in our collaboration, we were problem solving together, generating ideas and agreeing steps that will generate the greatest impact. Being clear and committed, individually and collectively, means doing even more good in and with people and communities in Sheffield. I feel very privileged to design and facilitate a process where everyone can have a say in creating an organisation that they feel at home and belong in. Amazing to hear more over a lovely lunch with Helen Steers about the ways that people are truly at the heart of work across partners and projects in Sheffield. This doesn't happen by accident. And a joy to share a surprise conversation (and a packed train corridor!) with Anna Hartley on my way home to #Leeds. I guess home is a place and a feeling. Sometimes it's where we choose to live. Sometimes it's the environment we create that helps us thrive, to feel and do our best. Sometimes it's what we can do to help others feel able to explore new territory and different perspectives. #strategy #codesign #workingtogether #growyourimpact #facilitation #picklywafts

Incredible, and what's even better, is the representation of #womenintech - this cohort has over 50% female representation. I am incredibly proud that whilst our last 3 cohorts have been on average around 45% female representation, we are hitting close to a representative of the workforce cohort makeup, for the last four, of c50-50. #codingbootcamp #fairaccesforall #tech4all #techforall #softwaredevelopment
New Cohort Alert! We are delighted to welcome the new cohort to our three campus locations. With the #norwich and #ipswich team supported by the New Anglia Local Enterprise Partnership. #cambridge and #peterborough supported by Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Combined Authority and #liverpool supported by Liverpool City Region Combined Authority. #tech #community #cohort #team #codingbootcam
