You already know you should apply sunscreen and stay hydrated, but here are four lesser-known tips to help you have fun in the sun safely: 🕶️ Use UV Blocking Sunglasses: Protect your eyes with sunglasses that block 100% of UVA and UVB rays. This helps prevent cataracts and other eye damage caused by UV exposure. 🧑 Use Lip Balm with SPF: Don’t forget to protect your lips! Use a lip balm with SPF 30 or higher to prevent sunburn and keep your lips moisturized. 🌟 Be Mindful of Reflective Surfaces: Water, sand and even concrete can reflect and intensify UV rays. Take extra precaution when you’re on or around these surfaces. 📅 Check the Daily UV Index in Your Area: This forecast helps you understand the risk level of UV radiation exposure and take appropriate measures to protect yourself.
