Congratulations! Be sure to share with all your GCMS users your very powerful "plug-in" for using the NIST Search program! https://lnkd.in/gvZ67yDy This enables options in the NIST software such as: -Powerful deconvolution of complex GC/MS chromatograms -Searching up to 127 libraries in a combined search -e.g. , the combined library of NIST and Wiley (>1.1 million total spectra) can be searched in ~ 2 seconds -Assignment and use of extensive GC retention indices -Searching libraries for model compounds by similar and exact structure -Using MS Interpreter to explain EI fragmentation patterns for both user and commercial library spectra -Advanced hybrid EI search which greatly extends the standard EI search for unknown characterization ⛵ Fair winds and following seas!
Congratulations to SHIMADZU CORPORATION for being selected as a 2023 Bioz Stars Award winner in the product category of Mass Spectrometry! [𝐏𝐨𝐬𝐭-𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐮𝐩𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞] Thrilled to kickstart 2024 with a successfully day at the 2𝒏𝒅 𝑨𝒏𝒏𝒖𝒂𝒍 𝑺𝒄𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒊𝒇𝒊𝒄 𝑺𝒚𝒎𝒑𝒐𝒔𝒊𝒖𝒎 for IDMxS packed with inspiring, informative, insightful and truly interdisciplinary talks from speakers all around! Very much looking forward to new collabs and progress updates in various areas - digital detection of proteins (David C. Duffy), assembly at phase separating aqueous system (Ho Cheung (Anderson) Shum), wavelets (@Shen Zuowei), metasurface optics (Wei Ting Chen), solutions for pandemic (Boon Huan Tan), molecular diagnostics (@daniel fletcher), and molecular analytics topics from our very own IDMxS speakers and poster presenters (Simou Sun, Joey DeGrandchamp, PhD, Xiao-Liu Chu, Xiao Yi, Yin Yueming, Neil (Hyuneil) Kim, Ai Ping Yow, James Ho, and many more!! https://lnkd.in/gkgGskKf). Last but not least, kudos to the organizing committee (https://lnkd.in/gBQ2nxMX) and leadership team. Peter Török, Eric Yap, Thorsten Wohland, Atul Parikh! Gearing up for an exciting ride for the next 12 months. #idmxs #molecularanalytics #ntu #nus #singaporesymposium #science #diagnostics #translationalresearch
As 2023 is winding down, two highly relevant symposiums in my fields of research will happen in Q1 2024! The FIRST - "𝐈𝐃𝐌𝐱𝐒 2𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐲𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐮𝐦 - 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐌𝐨𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐫 𝐃𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧". Organized by IDMxS, this comes almost immediately on the 5𝐭𝐡 J𝐚𝐧 as we kickstart the New Year. If you want to learn about 𝐝𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐦𝐨𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐲𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐬, which refer to a broad class of scientific strategies to detect, identify, and quantify molecular species in a massively parallel assay format, this is the event not to miss. Come down to the 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐨𝐟 𝐁𝐢𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐲𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐦 1 and talk to us! Research Group Leader at Walther Straub Institute of Pharmacology and Toxicology, LMU - Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität
Research tools offered by companies have been a great help to advance science... however, now we want to correlate those results with new ones gained through Omics. I explore a phospho kit from #biotechne in this video and its compatibility with FAIR data principles https://lnkd.in/egQhsMkT

Working with preclinical models of endocrine disrupting chemicals? I'm curating a collection of methods articles on JoVE, and I'd love your submission! This collection aims to consolidate various methodologies for delivering EDCs in vivo in animal models and assessing relevant endocrine-mediated endpoints, including, but not limited to, reproductive, metabolic, and neurobehavioral outcomes. Additionally, it focuses on the techniques used to elucidate the molecular, hormonal, and physiological mechanisms by which EDCs influence these endpoints, as well as the analytical methods essential for understanding the complex effects of EDCs on individuals. Creating a repository of this type of information for the field of EDC research will help foster a more standardized approach to the interdisciplinary study of EDCs, support the identification of new chemicals of concern, and provide consistent, evidence-based recommendations to regulatory bodies. Please check out the webpage at the link below, and consider submitting an abstract! https://lnkd.in/gMugNWQE
