North Carolina Technology Association (NC TECH) has shared its latest Tech Talent Trends Alert, revealing insights into the state's IT job market. The report includes data on IT positions categorized by metropolitan areas, job types, skillsets, and employers. The July figures show a modest increase from June, indicating a positive trend despite not reaching the record highs of 2022. However, some cities in North Carolina are seeing spikes upwards of 122% compared to this time last year. An additional significant observation is that 65% of surveyed North Carolina businesses expressed their intentions to recruit tech professionals during the third quarter. Beyond these encouraging statistics, the information further revealed that the Top 10 companies hiring for tech positions in the state were not exclusively tech-oriented companies. This underscores the widespread demand for IT roles across diverse industries. Our Managing Directors Andrew Wayne and Julie Powers can help you navigate this ever-changing market and find solutions to meet your needs.
