Increasingly intense droughts and floods are affecting the water sources of vulnerable populations, compromising their health. Ensuring the resilience of the services we provide is at the heart of our strategy. Agile infrastructure and adequate technology already enable @1001fontaines to guarantee continuous supply of safe drinking water to 1.2M people in the world. There is growing attention on how society can use nature to protect itself against the impact of #climate disasters - and mangroves are one such solution. Acting as a natural defence during severe storms, mangroves can regulate flood waters, filtrate pollution, reduce soil erosion, and even maintain cooler temperatures.
