Looking back on a jam-packed month of activities, we can’t help but share what a memorable time we had at The World's 50 Best Restaurants Awards in Las Vegas. The evening began with a cocktail reception, hosted by Resy partner Overstory, then we recognized Los Angeles restaurant Kato with The Resy One To Watch Award and celebrated all the outstanding restaurants that made the 50 Best list — including Global Dining Access partner Atomix, which was named number six.

Hello from Charleston! Earlier this month, Team Resy attended FAB, a business workshop for women in the hospitality industry looking to sharpen their skills and build meaningful connections. Our very own Chief Product Officer Elizabeth Vakil kicked things off with an introductory speech at the opening reception. Then the team attended three days of empowering panels, learning from industry experts and connecting with aspiring professionals from around the country. Thanks for the Southern hospitality, FAB!

This summer, Resy and Unapologetic Foods are embarking on a multi-city tour to celebrate the multifaceted brilliance of American food, and we started off strong at Anajak Thai in LA, where chefs Chintan Pandya and Justin Pichetrungsi hosted two days of unforgettable collaborative dinners. We are honored to support the chefs and restaurant teams who are unapologetically shaping the way we dine today! Learn more about The Unapologetic Experience: https://lnkd.in/dM8TxiA5

We're excited to share that our parent company American Express is expanding its commitment to restaurants and dining! #TeamAmex announced its plans to acquire Tock, a reservation, table, and event management technology provider, and Rooam, a technology company that powers mobile payments, ordering and integrations with point of sale, marketing and loyalty systems used by restaurants and entertainment venues. Being under one roof with these complementary tech platforms means we can give dining and hospitality businesses even more tools to help them grow and thrive and connect them with even more restaurant lovers. Today is just day one. Watch this space! Read more: https://bit.ly/4cnzEAQ

From day one, Resy has been “By Restaurants, For Restaurants.” That’s why, in collaboration with several of our partners, we have been supporting the Restaurant Reservation Anti-Piracy Act which aims to prohibit the unauthorized listing and resale of restaurant reservations in New York State. Today, the New York state Assembly voted 139-0 in favor of the legislation, and we hope the Senate will follow on Wednesday. If passed, this will be a significant step forward to protect restaurants and diners from reservation fraud. Read more in the Resy Newsroom.

The best way to support AAPI-owned restaurants is frequenting them! Taiwanese Gourmet in Elmhurst, Queens is a favorite of our Resy NYC team because they specialize in so many classic Taiwanese dishes. Who’s jealous of the feast this Resy crew enjoyed? While not on Resy (they take walk-ins, mostly), Taiwanese Gourmet is a must-visit for crispy pork chop, three cup chicken, and their “stinky tofu.” On Resy, we love Taiwanese restaurants Wenwen and Win Son, among others. Tell us what AAPI-owned restaurants you’re excited to try this month 👇

This month, #TeamResy and hospitality professionals from across the globe convened in Philadelphia for the first-annual The Chef Conference. From panel discussions to trailblazer talks, speakers shared their expertise, insights, and experiences on the most important topics guiding the future of the restaurant industry. And with so many chefs from Resy’s most sought-after restaurants in town… we couldn’t miss the opportunity to give Philly a taste of their cooking! So, we paired them up with local restaurants for one-night-only dinners, one very special lunch, and a not-to-be-missed cocktail hour.
