There are two trends on LinkedIn that seem to be getting a lot of attention. * Circular Economy. * How to improve you position and sell more on LinkedIn. How and are these related? I fully agree with the circular economy objectives but preaching will not change cultures or attitudes. There has to be a 'benefit' - a benefit that somehow appeals to generations that have not given a damn about the overuse of the planets resources. The 'how to sell more' posts imply that there is an 'instant fix' that you need to use to grow your business. It always comes back to offering the right product or service, at the right time, in the right place through the right channels (4P's of marketing) - in other words understanding what your customers want. For now I will just post a nice picture of a field!

Last week I decided to change my function title: From Impact Strategist back to Senior Marketing Strategist. Why ?! Not because I doubt that marketing has the potential to be the driving force behind positive impact. That is exactly the reason why. Because creating a parallel impact world seemed a wrong strategy. It is in the core of marketing where my true ambition lies. Supporting people, brands and companies to create real value for their stakeholders and their company. To create positive impact for all.
