Last week our Private Equity Health Care team hosted a Deal Forum in the New York office providing an opportunity for bankers and sponsors investing in the health care space to meet and generate deal flow. In addition to meetings, the event featured a panel discussion on the current state of the healthcare private equity market. #privateequity #healthcare #dealmaking

On June 25, Reed Smith LLP hosted a Private Equity Healthcare focused Deal Forum at their New York office. Esteemed bankers in attendance included representatives from Cain Brothers, Cantor Fitzgerald, Fifth Third Bank, Greenhill & Co., Oppenheimer & Co. Inc., Solomon Partners, Stephens, Stout and Stifel Financial Corp. Additionally, private equity sponsors such as Ally Bridge Group, Centre Lane Partners, LLC, H.I.G. Capital, KKR, Sentinel Capital Partners, Sheridan Capital Partners, Varsity Healthcare Partners, and Webster Equity Partners were present. The forum provided an opportunity for #bankers and #sponsors investing in the health care space to meet and generate #dealflow. In addition to meetings, the event featured a panel discussion on the current state of the healthcare private equity market. The panel was moderated by Chris Sheaffer, Global Vice-Chair of Private Equity at Reed Smith, and Nicole Aiken-Shaban, Reed Smith Life Sciences Health Industry Group partner. Panelists included Tony Crisman, Managing Director and Head of Healthcare IB at Stout; Dan Schultz , Managing Director of BD at Webster Equity; Kevin Reilly, Managing Director at Ally Bridge; Brandon Cohen, Principal at H.I.G Capital; and Brian Bewley, Reed Smith’s Life Sciences & Health Care partner.
