Knowing and aligning values and behaviors (culture) is necessary for your brand to be successful. At Chick-fil-A, the lived values and behaviors are aligned and predictable. You can be certain that bathrooms will be clean, the people serving you will smile, be well dressed, and engage you in conversation while always saying, "It's my pleasure." after you say thank you. This is their superpower, "an aligned culture and brand." Can you say this for the other fast food chains? No, not necessarily and so they outsell KFC by 5X in revenue per store while being closed on Sundays.
