I believe there is a massive opportunity for people to control their own destiny particularly at this time. If you're a top talent or a Founder/CEO, Let me explain some context, get into the problem and provide a solution 👇
🔎 Context:
The Fed keeps printing money out of thin air and macro conditions continue to worsen while inflation remains high. Supposedly there's job growth out there but it doesn't reflect the reality for many in the emerging tech scene. I expect many more layoffs over the coming months. The employees that are left are typically working lean and stressed. Hiring Managers and TA's are overworked and under pressure to find the perfect diamond with directives changing often.
😟 Problem:
There is top talent out there in finance, tech, blockchain, sports, web3 and more that have worked with or have connections with some of the biggest brands and investors on earth and yet they are out there competing with hundreds if not thousands of people for their next six figure payday job. That experience has left a lot to be desired for many that I've talked to.
Many companies are heading into Q4 looking for anything they can to increase revenue and/or cut costs, often times that means personnel. For many companies this is a game of survival and outlasting the competition.
🤩 Solution:
Your network is your net worth and many aren't leveraging it as much as they could be. Often times big players will listen to the advice of an independent third party they’ve built a relationship with anyways. There is big demand right now for the following:
-Fractional Business Development Leader
-Fractional Head of Growth
-Investor Outreach Services
🧐Why it makes sense:
Less risk for a company to sign a non-exclusive agreement with someone to see if they can get results with someone to leverage their network to secure vetted introductions, help them sign deals, connect with investors, and grow their business. At the end of the it's all about results plus everyone likes saving time and money working with people that know what they are doing.
So am I saying "Stop wasting your time applying for your next dream job?" no, if that's what you really want. What I am saying is that if you have the right network, want to work remotely, why not bet on yourself while you look for that dream job and if it happens for you great but if not at least you are working on something with high potential that you could end up loving.
