Got to spend Friday night at Allay Consulting LLC's party called Allaypalooza. A lot of industry leaders and companies were present at a rad art gallery space in Denver. Normally, one could throw an event with the industry and if the venue was down, have your attendees enjoy consuming the products we celebrate in our industry right on the patio, or rooftop. However, because some snitchy uppity licensees decided to tell the MED to enforce against them, the city issued warnings to EVERYONE that the only way to consume cannabis at an event is with a licensed consumption partner, like a bus. So the Allay team pivoted to bring in The Cannabis Experience (https://lnkd.in/gTZas-Np) a social equity license holder with a top notch consumption lounge bus. It was dope. While we are busy networking, forming great relationships, partnerships, and generating interest for our businesses, we also like to enjoy the products of our industry together as well. Why does the city continue to act like cannabis will infect the masses, destroy our ability to operate safely, is a danger to the world around us to such an extent we can't even have private events and consume on premises? No idea. These were business owners and leaders DOING WORK while having a fun time. All the while, alcohol can flow as freely as water. But I do know that the Allay team made a great choice, and we had a great time, and at the end of the day, that's all that matters. This is the only media I captured of the entire event. Enjoy! It directly ties into and evolves the cannabis travel and tourism innovation discussion. In the United States, direct travel spending totaled $1.2 trillion in 2022, which produced an economic footprint of $2.6 trillion throughout the county. Modern day hospitality-minded cannabis experience centers intersecting with the US travel economy is a smart strategic direction, for those with the appetite to go above and beyond a low price leader product resident transaction.
